The Oja-Tirón Green Way runs through and connects the municipalities of Casalarreina, Cihuri, Anguciana and Haro. In a little over three hours, it permits the discovery of the natural, landscape and cultural values of La Rioja.
The route permits the discovery of Haro and its emblematic squares and palace-houses and its Barrio de la Estación [Station Neighbourhood], which makes it one of the main wine tourism destinations in Spain. The journey continues through fields of crops as far as the municipality of Anguciana, whose Gothic Torre Fuerte de los Salcedo is a highlight. In Cihuri, you can discover the Priorato neighbourhood. After leaving the municipality, you walk along the Oja riverbank, which accompanies the route until it reaches Casalarreina. After crossing the unmistakable bridge across the River Oja, you can delve deeper into its history and culture by discovering the Monastery of Santa María de la Piedad, the Church of San Martín and its manor houses, among other things.
