A perfect representation of the municipality, its culture, history and heritage.

Since 2019, Casalarreina has exhibited a large mural by the local artist José Uríszar at the entrance to the municipality along the Avenida de La Rioja. It represents a scene showing the main attractions and touristic resources of the town: the Pobes Spring, the Palace of the Constables of Castille, the Church of San Martín and the Monastery of Santa María de la Piedad, among others.

In the mural, with earthy tones and a sensation of relief, one can observe a very realistic scene of a stonecutter carving the different monuments of Casalarreina. The work, which was executed in just over a week, is an invitation to visitors to discover all the unique tourist attractions in the municipality.

Also, this muralist from La Rioja is the author of the mural in the play area of El Soto, which takes advantage of the colourfulness of the area to represent a scene in accordance with this children’s playground.
